On the occasion of Janmashtami Prakashites had celebrations with traditional fervour. Children beautifully dressed up as Krishnas, Gopikas. The school premises were decorated with peacock feathers and pots.Krishna was worshipped and idols of Krishna cradled. Children from different classes recited the slokas, sang songs and danced. The students also narrated the childhood stories of Lord Krishna. All students payed Lord Krishna with great love and devotion. The students were overjoyed when they hit Dahi Handi. All Gopika 's enjoyed the traditional churning of butter. Many parents participated in the celebration with a great joy. The whole celebration was splendid with colourful flowers and amazing performances of the students.
Primary
Harghar Tiranga is a campaign in Azadi ka ‘Amrit Mahotsav’. The students of SPVN – Tuni participated in this campaign with various events such as Elocution, Quiz & songs. LKG to 7th class students prepared flags. LKG & UKG students made the formation of ‘India’ holding the flags. Grade – 1 to Grade – 3 students prepared articles about freedom fighters. 4&5 classes showed their patriotic fervor with their articles and with the formation of ‘We love India’. The students also participated in the rally in Rotary street, Tuni with patriotic slogans. The whole campus was filled with patriotism with the events.
