L.O:- Identify the important places in the neighbourhood and activities that happen in those places.
As a part of field trip, class-1 children visited different places of neighbourhood like a park and a temple. Children visit the park with their parents to spend their free time and play with their friends on slides, see-saw, swing, merry-go-round. Children like to enjoy in the park.
Later they visited the temple. The priest explained that people come to the temple to pray to God. The Priest performs pooja and offers Naivedyam to the God. The temple opens from 6:00 a.m to 9:00 p.m. They decorate the temples during festivals with flowers and lights.
Children understood the purpose of different places in their neighbourhood.
