L.O:- Students identify the different vehicles move on land.
As part of field trip our grade 2 children visited the railway station at Tuni. There the children observed the different vehicles in the parking area of the railway station. They observed cars, vans, autos, rickshaws, cycles, bikes, scooters, etc. The auto drivers explained the way of getting on and off the vehicles. They shared the do’s and don’ts while travelling. Then the children stood on the platform and observed the goods and passenger trains running on the tracks. They keenly observed the tracks, engine, compartments and wheels of the trains. They also found the way the passengers buy tickets at the railway counters and board the train. They also met the railway employees such as station master, ticket collector, guard, porters there. This trip is a wonderful practical learning experience for them.
