Going Greens... Healthy food sharing....

On the occasion of Children's Day, all the students of Sri Prakash kids kingdom enjoyed the food sharing. This event made the children understand the importance of Greens, which are essential for a healthy life, aligning with this year's chosen theme.
Senior Principal, Mr. M. V. V. S. Murthy, interacted with the children and advised them to listen to their brain, not their tongue, when choosing food items to build a strong and healthy body. He also distributed prizes to the winners of games and sports from LKG to 3rd class .All the teachers and students worked together to prepare articles and projects on the theme of Greens.The children from play school to Grade 5 worshipped Tulasi and Amla plants during the auspicious month of Karthikam.. Students brought rice made of various Greens,  homemade food items and shared them with their friends. A special tea made with Tulasi leaves was prepared by children and served to all.

In the end, 3,4&5 classes  students presented their projects on Greens - traditional leaves, such as betel, mango, and plantain leaves, and medicinal plants like tulasi, mint, Punarnava, and aloe vera. They also shared information about edible leaves,- Spinach, Sorrel, Amaranthus, curry leaves, mint, coriander, and others.

The students had a joyful learning and  enjoying the experience.
