Villages are beautiful. Life in village is serene and peaceful. As a part of a field trip, students of grade – 5 were taken to village trip named Namavaram on 01.08.2019. Children saw agricultural activities in the fields and on the way they visited Shivalayam temple which is famous in that village. Through this trip, children compared the life style in cities and villages. This became a wonderful learning trip to the children.
Students of Grade-4, CBSE, SPVN-Tuni, were taken to a field trip to Madhura dairy farm on 01.08.2019 which is being organized by CHITTURI AGRO & LACTATING FOODS (P) Ltd. Payakaraopeta. It is a good opportunity to the students to explore the different sections related the dairy farm as it ties to their science unit for nutrition theme.
During the tour, dairy farmers Mr. Surya Narayana and Mr. Ganga Raju showed the cattle barns, milking the cows and the food they eat. The children looked on with curiosity and experienced a huge process of milk products.
Pottery is an art of making clay pots by hand in India since hundreds of years. For more understanding and reaching to the learning outcome, children were taken to pottery as a field trip on 31.07.2019.
Children interacted with a potter who makes pots to earn a living. Some of the students interviewed the potter and gathered information about its importance.
It is an experiential and memorable trip to the students of Grade-3.
Teachers organized a field trip for Grade- 1 and 2 students of CBSE to a shopping mall named ‘D mart’ on 29.07.2019 and 30.07.2019.
The visit to the D mart was an exciting experience for all students. They saw many different sections in the mart which are connected to the themes in their lesson plans. Students were happy with the trip.
Routine handwashing is one of the best practices to stop the impact of spreading illness and germs to others. Dr. Saroja, medical officer in diagnosis department, Govt. Hospital, Tuni, hosted an awareness event and demonstrative the techniques and advantages of hand washing.
Children were actively engaged in the hand washing activity using the 5-step hand washing technique as mentioned below.
1. Wet your hands.
2. Apply a bar of soap or liquid soap to your hands.
3. Rinse the palms, back of hands and fingers by singing rhyme. (15sec)
4. Wash the hands with water.
5. Wipe the hands with napkin.
Good table manners for children are an important part of every meal. When we teach our children good table manners, we are giving them important tools for social interaction that will serve them for the rest of their lives. Keeping this as a key aspect , kids of LKG CBSE were taught the basic table manners where they need to follow while having every meal.
Mr.J.V.S.Bhaskar , a motivational speaker , soft skill trainer at Intach heritage foundation is invited as our Athidhi on 27th July’19 to address the students of Grade-IV CBSE , Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan, Tuni.
Mr.J.V.S.Bhaskar interacted with the students and motivated them that happiness is the key factor of success .He shared some inspiring stories that prove “Happiness is main step to achieve goal” to the children. He also encouraged children to know their potential to get their dreams come true.
