Today Grade – 1 and 2 children had a field trip to the neighbourhood places as part of their active curriculum. So all the children had a bus ride to visit the places like the local market, the cinema, petrol bunk, fly over, the church, the hotels, the temples, the play stations, the hospitals, the bank, the M.R.O office, the police station, the Sub-Jail, the other nearby schools and the gated community. Through this field trip the children came to realise that they are living in a society with different places.
The children also understood the services at places like a petrol bunk, a bank, a hospital, a railway station etc. The teachers clarified that these places help them to get their work done more easily and faster.
