Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan Annavaram was honoured to host a special guest from the Indian Army as part of the ATHIDHI program. Amalapurapu Manikanta, a dedicated member of the Army Medical Corps, visited the campus to inspire and educate the 8th-grade students about the valour and commitment of our armed forces.
In his engaging address, Manikanta spoke passionately about the importance of nurturing love and devotion for the nation from a young age. He shared vivid accounts of the challenges faced by soldiers, emphasizing the need for discipline and dedication to achieve one’s goals. His compelling stories and insights about the sacrifices made by soldiers left a lasting impression on the students.
The children were captivated by his speech and eagerly posed numerous questions about the Indian Army and its operations. Manikanta responded with patience and clarity, highlighting the role of the armed forces in rescue missions during floods and other natural disasters. He also offered valuable career guidance, encouraging students to set ambitious goals and strive to achieve them.
In recognition of Manikanta's inspiring visit, the Headmaster, Sri D.L.P. Raju, praised the dedication and sacrifices of Indian soldiers. As a token of appreciation, he presented Manikanta with a book bouquet, celebrating both his contribution to the event and the enduring spirit of the armed forces.
