National Hindi Language Day was celebrated on 14th September in a grand manner at Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan Tuni. Children were divided into groups and various competitions related to reading, writing and speaking skills were held for a week. Activities like speaking in Hindi language, reciting Hindi poetry, telling short stories etc. were organized for the students. As a part of celebrations students from classes III to X gathered together and displayed their skills in various areas. While the kids from the Primary classes of III, IV and V presented Balgeeth, the students of Grades VI to X show cased their skills in poetry recitation, describing pictures drawn by them, and narrating the stories composed by them. The students who showed talent in various competitions were encouraged with certificates of appreciation. The articles on display prepared by the students on various topics were a special attraction.
