‘Attitude is Altitude’ – this was the lesson from the English Reader of Grade X which made us invite Sri. Gundra Rajeswarao, a government teacher at M. P. P School, Srirampuram (Metta) as Atithi on 23/08/23, to address the Students of Class X. Sri Rajeswarao garu , a differently abled person, is physically challenged since his childhood and so faced numerus challenges not only in carrying out his day-to-day chores, but during his educational journey too just the way ‘Nick Vujicic’ faced in the lesson ‘Attitude is Altitude’. Sharing his personal life story from his childhood till becoming a teacher, he shared the inspirations he took from various people – his aunt, his father, his teachers, his mother and his friends. He stressed on the point of facing difficulties with a positive attitude and handle tough situations with optimism. His talk with practical examples, made the children connect emotionally and left a lasting impact on them. the students expressed gratitude for his heartwarming words and promised to bring about a change in their attitudes through their behaviour.
