M. Srikara Durga Pranavi, a Chess enthusiast from Grade VI at SPVN TUNI, emerged victorious by securing the 1st place in District-level in AP STATE Under 11Girls Chess Championship - 2023. This event was conducted in Kakinada by the Kakinada District Chess Association under the Aegis of the Andhra Chess Association (ACA). Later, she participated in the selections for Nationals, which was held at Indira Vignan Bhavan, Srikakulam on 10th, 11th & 12th August 2023. This event was organised by Chess Association of Srikakulam District. She scored 4.5 points out of 8 rounds and secured 29th place.
