As part of field trip, students of Grade-5 visited a smallscale industry named "Venkateswara Lova Prasad Polymers " at Tetagunta where Thermocol is manufactured and exported all over India. Mr.& Mrs. Ch. Lova Prasad, managing directors of the industry clearly explained the process of manufacturing Thermocol. Students curiously learnt the functioning of machines. They explored the industry, posed interesting questions and learnt about the raw material used and the sources required to manufacture Thermocol. The students understood the parameters used in making the product. They keenly observed the boiler, cooling tower and machines in the factory. This trip gave a great learning experience and created interest in students to establish an industry in future.
