Students of VII C.B.S.E, Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan visited a farm in Srirampuram where they learnt about Organic Farming and making of Organic Jaggery from Mr.Satyanarayana Raju and his team members. They were inspired by an Indian, Subhas Palekar, who has been known to all, propagating his own natural farming methods. Students came to know that there are 4 important steps involving in sugarcane crop production in rotaries. Students realized that Natural Farming is the most effective and input efficient than Industrial farming as the farmers are spending practically more money on inputs but and willing to consume organic products which would be healthy.
