Sri Prakash students of class 8 D. Vyshwanth and T. Mohan have been selected for the second level of National Met-Olympiad that will be conducted in New Delhi on 12.01.2025. They have also been invited to participate in the celebration of 150 years of India Metrological Department, New Delhi from 13.01.2025 to 15.01.2025. Achieving one of the top ranks in the state level of Met-Olympiad conducted an online quiz competition on 15.12.2024, D Vyshwanth and T. Mohan are going to participate in the second level. The students were congratulated by the correspondent Ch. V. K. Narasimha Rao, Joint Secretary Ch. Vijay Prakash, Senior Principal MVVS. Murthy, Headmaster D. V. Srinivas and teaching and non teaching staff for their commendable accomplishment.
Sri Prakash aims at imparting education with values and ensure the students to have first hand experience in the teaching learning process. As part of it, students of class 9 were taken to Sri Ramapuram to visit the fields of Sri. Satyanarayana Raju, a versatile farmer, who has been promoting natural farming for years in order to bring awareness to people towards using naturally cultivated crops as their food. He interacted with the students about natural farming and its importance now- a-days. A team of farmers accompanied the students to field visit of different crops and clarified the students doubts patiently. In the visit students observed the making of jaggery right from the boiling of sugarcane juice to shaping its molds. Extraction of juice, boiling on the furnace, separation of waste and making pot molds attracted the students attention. Tasting the chilled fresh sugarcane juice and freshly prepared jaggery would remain a fresh forever.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) conducted a Comprehensive School Safety and Security Review (CSSR) mock exercise at Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Payakaraopeta, on November 25, 2024.
This exercise aimed to assess the school's preparedness for disaster response and identify areas for improvement.

The 57th National Library Week celebrations were held at the Payakaraopeta Branch Library from November 14 to 20. As part of these celebrations, various competitions were organized for government and private school students, including essay writing, chess, quiz, elocution, recitation of Bhagavad Gita slokas, drawing, and yoga.
Students of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, State Board, High School, Payakaraopeta, excelled in these competitions.
In the senior category, G. Roopa Shree Naga Shirisha (10th class) and CH. Chandana Varshini (10th class) won the first and third prizes respectively in the Telugu essay writing competition.
In the quiz competition, CH. Mohan Karthik (10th class), N. Bhanu Tejas (10th class), and T. Mohan (8th class) won the first prize.
In the yoga competition, B. Pravalika (8th class) won the second prize, while in the recitation of Bhagavad Gita slokas competition, K. Akhil (9th class) won the third prize.
In the junior category, Tanishya (6th class) and Deekshith (6th class) won the first prize in the quiz competition. K. Venkat (6th class) won the consolation prize in the yoga competition.
The prizes were given away to all the winners by the chief guest, Payakaraopeta Town Circle Inspector G. Appanna Babu, and the guest of honor, Telugu Desam Party Payakaraopeta Mandal President Peddireddy Chitti Babu.
