Field trips help students develop new skills, explore new environments, and provide hands-on experiences. Grade 2 children were taken to explore their community by visiting different local places, from the library to the park. during their visits (railway station, library, bank, temple, church, park) children were engaged with the community, meeting new people and learning how different places serve different purposes and contribute to the overall character of the neighbourhood. 
This initiative has not only helped the children learn more about their community but also helped them develop important social skills.

Graduation is an exciting time. It is both the completion and commencement with warm memories of the past and big dreams for the future. Sri Prakash proudly presented the graduation certificates to yet another batch of 96 students of the kindergarten on Thursday, July 27, 2023. Kids came up with a mesmerizing dance performance that left the audience spellbound. Children, dressed in graduation robes and caps with their smiling faces, were welcomed by the eager audience with rapturous applause. Joint secretary of Sri Prakash educational institutions Sri CH. Vijay Prakash addressed the gathering with his invigorating words and enlightened the audience with his visionary outlook. Kindergarten graduation is an exciting milestone for pre-primary children as it’s the first step of lovely kids towards a bright future. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for the little ones as they received their graduation certificates joyously.

The Sankranti celebration in Sri Prakash is a true manifestation of our rich culture and traditions. Sankranti is the most auspicious festival in Hindu culture which is the mark of the transition of the Sun into makara sign. Students dressed in traditional attire and explained the importance of bogi,Sankranti, kanuma, bhogipallu etc. Students participated in cultural activities like singing and dancing around the bonfire. Bhogi pallu, bommala kolavu, gangireddu, Haridas, sweet pongali was cooked in pots.  Bullock carts, Sodamma etc. Students showed their innovative and artistic sides by making kites of vibrant and glittering colours. We did call parents also to inspire them, inculcate traditions and culture among their children from childhood. The celebration reflected the village atmosphere, it reached crescent and the students had the audience spell bound.

To bridge the gap between education and hands on experience grade 1 Payakaraopeta students were taken to the garden. They saw a huge variety of plants like herbs, shrubs, trees, grass, climbers, creepers and learnt their importance. They were excited to see a wide variety of plants.

Art is a way to encourage the process and the experience of thinking and making things better. There are cognitive, physical, emotional and social benefits of learning in and through the arts. In addition to these benefits, learning through the arts can enhance critical thinking and problem solving skills, empathy and tolerance for others, ability to work collaboratively in groups. It also enhances self knowledge which is seen as a positive learning tool in education. Kids of Sri prakash vidyaniketan had enthusiastically participated in the theme WINTER world and showcased their artistic skills through different paintings and colouring. Through this event students could develop mathematical skills of identifying, classifying and describing the shape, size, colour and location of geometric figures. “Art and Craft” describes a wide variety of activities involving making things with one’s own hands. It was a concept based activity program to allow children to express themselves and bring out the hidden feelings and emotions even not leaving child introverts through this “Art & Craft”, children develop cognitive skills, physical skills and emotional skills. When children participate in both arts and crafts, creativity and imagination receive strong stimulation.

Parent Orientation programme is a guide to help parents navigate school life. Starting a new school year can be an exciting but challenging experience, especially for parents who have children attending school for the first time. The parents of L.kg to grade2 were invited and given a walkthrough of all the school processes. The main objective of this program was to familiarize the new parents with the curriculum, teaching methodologies, evaluation system, co-scholastic activities and various other programmes of the school. Important information regarding mode of communication with the school and relevant details were provided to the parents. The various new initiatives taken up by the school management were also touched upon. The programme helped the parents to feel more connected to their child’s school and give them an opportunity to get their doubts clarify. Parents understood how to support their children’s education and felt more assured. 

To spread the magic of love, joy and cheer. Nursery kids celebrated Christmas Eve with great vitality and enthusiasm. Students from different classes enjoyed the paper craft activities like Santa Claus, angels, bells, stars etc. A Christmas tree was decorated with bells, stars, lights, gifts. The Christmas tree symbolises a new life. Children were dressed in beautiful Christmas attire reverberating with the melody of Christmas carols. K.G. Angel dance to joyful tunes.  Master Rajesh of class 8 narrated the story  of lord Jesus and the legend of Santa Claus, importance of the star and why the Christmas tree is decorated.
