Coming together and sharing a meal is the most communal  and binding things in almost every place in the world.The sharing of food has always been part of prakashites.Children prepared delicious dishes like sprouts salad and sweet corn salad . As a part of food sharing children displayed the healthy food items like Ragi laddu, fox tail porridge ,great Millet roti ,tender Palm shoots,groundnuts, sesame laddu etc.. These types of sharing food can greatly boost our well being,it benefits not only our Physical health but also our social and emotional wellness. 

A field trip is one of the best tool to provide every student with real world experiences. To experience this, grade 2 children were taken to the South Central Shopping Mall to see the different  types of clothes of summer wear like cotton shirts, cotton sarees, cotton bed sheets.

Winter wear like sweater, muffler, monkey caps, shawls, rugs.

 Rainy wear like rain coats and  umbrellas .

 Children learnt that in different seasons the weather is different and we wear clothes according to the weather.

There’s no denying that children love dolls of all hues and makes. As a part of learning about festivals, K.G. children celebrated the festival of Navaratri. They brought toys and dressed in traditional finery. The children learnt the story on how goddess Durga fought for 9 days with the demon and killed demon mahisasura. The golu festival of Navaratri celebrates the victory of good over evil. Children narrated stories of Navaratri, performed dandiya steps. It was a joyous and wonderful learning.

Farm visits are fun learning experience. U.K.G. children were taken to the Madhura Dairy Farm to see some farm animals like cow, buffaloes, oxen, ducks, calves, ducklings. Children learnt the sounds of animals and the products we get from farm animals. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to see some farm animals.

Parents involvement fosters a child’s academic and social development. Students thrive when their parents become a part of the classroom. As a part of parent-connect-meet the parents of grade 1 & 2 involved in their children’s learning process, they did activities with their children. This is an efficient way for parents and teachers to interact and discuss their child’s progress. It also helped the parent to communicate and co-ordinate with the teacher about the participation of the child in the class and in different activities,  such meetings help them to grow as a team and ensure their success.

Real life experiences leave memorable effects on the little minds. To make the learning experiences more realistic, a field trip was organised for grade 1 students to a railway station, bus station and petrol bunk. The purpose of the visit was to acquaint the students with the public transportation facility used by most of the people in our country. It helped the students to get hands-on experience to observe how people travel. The children observed the ticket counter, the indicators displaying the time and name of the trains, waiting rooms, the guard who waves the green flag and red flag as a signal for the loco pilot. They observed different kinds of passengers and continuous announcements made in all three languages. Children were taught the uses of petroleum products, they learnt the rules to be followed in public places. It was a fruitful learning experience for the students.

We believe in all round awareness and development of students. Our grade 2 students went on a field trip to a market. A market is a wonderful place for children to be aware of and learn about different kinds of foods and other things available there. On their visit to the market, children were made to identify the types of foods found there. They were shown different sections of the market like fresh fruits and vegetable section, grain section, meat/ diary/ fish section, bakery etc. It was a fun filled learning experience for each child.

Children of grade 2 Payakaraopeta are taken to the garden to explore the outdoor classroom and find, how different plants have different types of flowers, stem, leaves, and roots that all function to support survival.
