Parent Orientation programme is a guide to help parents navigate school life. Starting a new school year can be an exciting but challenging experience, especially for parents who have children attending school for the first time. The parents of L.kg to grade2 were invited and given a walkthrough of all the school processes. The main objective of this program was to familiarize the new parents with the curriculum, teaching methodologies, evaluation system, co-scholastic activities and various other programmes of the school. Important information regarding mode of communication with the school and relevant details were provided to the parents. The various new initiatives taken up by the school management were also touched upon. The programme helped the parents to feel more connected to their child’s school and give them an opportunity to get their doubts clarify. Parents understood how to support their children’s education and felt more assured.
