L.O: Children aware of healthy food.
As a part of Athidi programme we invited Mrs: Pujitha mother of Vennela, She explained the benefits of healthy food and balanced diet to be fit and strong. She shared the steps involved in the preparation of fruit salad. We used different fruits like apples, pomegranates guavas, grapes, papayas and bananas. She also added other ingredients like honey, custard milk and dates to make it delicious.
First she made the children wash the fruits. Then the children chopped the fruits into small pieces along with her. Next she added the custard milk, honey, and dates in the fruits slices for the energetic children to enjoy the healthy, delicious and yummy salad. It's a lovely experience for the children. She asked them to prepare it at home with their parents' help and serve it to their loved family members.
