Children have gone to a field trip to fire station to know the services of firemen. They saw the fire engine. They have met firemen, the leading fire officer Mr. G. Venkata Ramana explained about the equipment in the fire engine such as fire tender, ladder, rope, fire hose, branch pipe, fire extinguisher. The capacity of fire tender is 4500 litres ,which is in the fire engine.
He shared that, if you find a fire accident anywhere, we have to call the number 101. Then the firemen come
with fire engine.They connect the firehose to the fire tender to put out fire and rescue the people caught in the fire. If the fire accident happens at the 3rd or 4th floor of the building, they use ladder, rope and branch pipe to put out the fire.
Children shared to the firemen that they have observed the fire protection arrangements in our school to rescue from fire accidents. Children have understood their great services and thanked them.
