10 days Annual Training camp of 6(A) Naval Unit , NCC

24 active and energetic NCC cadets of 6(A) Naval Unit from Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan, Tuni attended the 10 Day Annual Training Camp (ATC) which was conducted from 22nd June 2024 to 1st July 2024 at Aditya Engineering College Campus, Surampalem. 
The JW team was accompanied by Sri P. Srinivasarao, Associate NCC officer ANO, Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan. The camp was organized under the leadership of Sri Akshay Arun, Lieutenant Commander, 6(A) Naval Unit, Kakinada.
Around 450 Cedets from Kakinada and East Godavari Districts were part of the camp. The Cadets were detailed for the camp to qualify for appearing for “A” “B” and “C” certificate exams 2025. The cadets were happy to share their training details. It included Physical Education Training from 6am to 7.30am followed by breakfast and then March past (Parade) from 10am to 11.30am. They had theory classes in both morning and afternoon sessions i.e. from 11.30 to 12.30 and 2.30pm to 3.30pm. They were glad to have Games and Sports, and Cultural Programmes from 4pm to 6pm every day during their 10-day programme.
 As usual, our Sri Prakashites shone like precious diamonds and came up with flying colours. Six of our NCC cadets, who took part in Volleyball team, won the 1st place. The students are Jitendra, Yogendra Pritam, Kalanidhi, Sandeep, Ashish and Sarat Chandra. In 200 meter running race, Sandeep and Ashish won 2nd and 3rd places respectively.  Samhita and Madhuri dazzled with their great dance performance and brought laurels by bringing 1st prize.
In all, the camp brought a great experience and exposure to all the cadets.
