As part of field trip students of Grade-8 visited CMR shopping mall at GNT road, Tuni. The trip started with finding out the full form of CMR ( Chandana Mohan Rao) by the students. Thereafter, children started exploring each and every floor. They felt excited on seeing different vibrant fabrics and a variety of jewellery. Children learnt the difference between selling price and market price. They understood how to calculate discount and deduct it from market price.Students went to the billing section and learned about billing process, percentages and taxes like CGST and SGST. They had a nice interaction with floor managers on doubts like how they decide the price for a particular fabric/dress, why they announce offers in a particular season etc..Finally they thanked the Manager for providing this wonderful opportunity.
At the end of the field trip as per the culture of our school, students honoured the management and the manager of CMR shopping mall with a memento.
