The students of Grades- 6 and 7 were taken on a field trip to the Village Panchayat and the Primary Health Centre of Srirampuram as part of rural administration lesson. The students observed different departments in the health centre such as nursing station, pharmacy, medical officer room, laboratory room, labour room, operation theatre, dressing chamber etc. Around 22 villages people visit this PHC for their health care. The Government provides the medicines and health equipment whichever is required as per the necessity of the people. After that students visited a village panchayat which is called Sachivalayam in present days. They had a good interaction with the Panchayat officers and the Executive officer of healh centre. They noticed that the Panchayat implements development programmes for all villages that come under it and solves the problems of the village. The students had an awesome experience with village administration in the trip.
