Global Hand Washing Day is celebrated each year on October 15th to highlight the importance of hand washing with soap and water. LKG to 2nd students of SPVN – Tuni participated in the activity of hand washing and learnt the five steps of washing hands properly. Such as :-
1. Wet the hands with clean, running water.
2. Lather the hand briskly and thoroughly with soap covering all surfaces of hands and wrists.
3. Scrub the hands and wrists for 20sec.
4. Rinse the hands and wrists under the running water.
5. Dry the hands and wrists with a clean towel or let them air - dry
Through this activity the children got the awareness of when to wash the hands as well as how to wash.
