We are well aware that our necessities cannot be fulfilled without community helpers. To help our students understand their services and contribution to the society, Grade 3 teachers organised a class activity on "Role of Community helpers in our Society" . The children were encouraged to make a thanks giving card and meet them for services appreciation and to say thanks for all the  ervices they provide for us.

It’s well known that spending time in nature is good for both mental and Physical health. A field trip to a farm was organized for the Class 3 students on 29.11.22 as a part of experiential learning. The process of farming and the journey of food was demonstrated to the students by D. Narshima Murthy garu, farmer and the teachers. The students enjoyed nature and observed the fields of paddy. They learnt the value of food and the hardships of a farmer in growing crops.

A government is setup to take care of the needs and welfare of the people. For more understanding Grade-V CBSE students were taken to the Municipal office in Tuni. Students explored the representatives of the Municipal office and their tasks performed. Smt. Eluri Sudha Balu, Muncipal Chairperson and Shri. J.S.K Raju, Muncipal Commissioner interacted with students and gave information about local government services. Students acquired knowledge that a local government provides various services like roads, water supply, providing health care to the people, preventing and treating diseases, disposal of waste etc.

Students involved with great enthusiasm to define and carrying out the roles and responsibilities of the local government which helps in proper functioning of our country. This field trip helped students to understand that problems are easily resolved when people take responsibility for them. Students showed their gratitude by presenting  Thanks-giving book mementos to Smt.Sudha garu and Sri.J.S.K Raju garu.

It was joyful that our students of class:3,4,5 CBSE. SRI PRAKASH VIDYANIKETAN,Payakaraopeta participated in various. ‘KRIYA’ (State level) competitions held on 19.11.22 and 20.11.22 in Kakinada at JNTU.Nearly 45 students of primary took part in the state level competitions with great Enthusiasm. Our students bagged state 1st Place in Art and Craft, State second place in Skit and consolation prizes for folk dance and Classical dance. Such kinds of participation in Extra-Curricular activities develop social and relationship building skills. Moreover it gives children opportunities to explore a plethora of interest and in the process children develop their self-esteem.

God is worshipped in different names, in different religions but the message is the same. Be kind, speak the truth. Students of Grade-3, Payakaraopeta were taken to different religious places like Varamahalakshmi temple (Metro), Church, Mosque and Ram Dev Baba  temple as a part of Experiential Learning on (21.11.22).Through this trip students learnt  that people from different cultures live together in harmony, making India a diverse country. This field trip was a great opportunity to inculcate in the children the value of respect  in each religion.

Students of class-3,CBSE were taken to Small Scale Sector on 06-09-2022 as a part of field trip.The main objective of this trip is students should know  that people take up occupations to earn money,choose occupations based on what they like to do  and  every occupation is special and useful to the community.Students  interviewed and talked to the different people of communities such as the weaver,Potter, vegetable and fruit vendor etc.  They were enthusiastic to ask many questions regarding their occupations . All the students took active  role in this trip.

The school celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5th September, 2022 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radha krishnan The students of  VIII, IX, X classes were encouraged to play the role of Teachers, Administrators in various wings right from LKG to X Classes in the school level. The responsibility of teaching to their juniors is taken up by our students as an appreciation for their teachers. They expressed their love and respect with lots of greetings orally and through greeting cards. Teachers’ day is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm by the students.

The school celebrated Sri. Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy Panthulu garu’s 159th birth anniversary on 29th August 2022 as ‘Telugu Language Day’. The teachers of Telugu language department organized various events like poem recitation and story writing to students of primary for developing the language. On this occasion Sri. S. Jamuna Kishore addressed the gathering and talked about the greatness and the respect one needs to show towards their mother tongue. The students were given prizes in various competitions held on the occasion.
