A government is setup to take care of the needs and welfare of the people. For more understanding Grade-V CBSE students were taken to the Municipal office in Tuni. Students explored the representatives of the Municipal office and their tasks performed. Smt. Eluri Sudha Balu, Muncipal Chairperson and Shri. J.S.K Raju, Muncipal Commissioner interacted with students and gave information about local government services. Students acquired knowledge that a local government provides various services like roads, water supply, providing health care to the people, preventing and treating diseases, disposal of waste etc.
Students involved with great enthusiasm to define and carrying out the roles and responsibilities of the local government which helps in proper functioning of our country. This field trip helped students to understand that problems are easily resolved when people take responsibility for them. Students showed their gratitude by presenting Thanks-giving book mementos to Smt.Sudha garu and Sri.J.S.K Raju garu.
