Sri Prakash Vidya Soudham hosted a workshop on Theatre for 10days from 21-09-2015 to 30-09-2015. Several experts from the field of theatre came here to train and guide the students. Sri S.K.Mishro movie artiste, Sri D.Subrahmanyam, Theatre Director, Sri Vangapandu Prasada Rao, Poet, Writer & Actor in folk, Sri Sai Pattepu, actor, Theatre Practitioner, Sri Abheesh Sasidharan, Expert in Theatre from Kerala and miss Luxsnai songsiengchai, Actor and Director from Thailand, research scholars from Hyderabad Central University.
Theatre is a combination of different streams of acting, art, life, society and nature. It helps in re-discovering and reconnecting with the world of imagination, world of exploration and the ability of expression. Theatre helps in looking at the world around us in a more receptive way. It exercises work on different levels such as alertness, co-ordination of the mind –body-voice, observation, presentation, concentration, speech, body language, positive self consciousness getting of negative belief, release of emotions. The guiding force Sri Ch.Vijay Prakash, Joint Secretary, Sri Prakash Educational Institutions attended and said that these things would definitely help to build an all-round development.
It is about looking around knowing and understanding one’s surroundings, getting exposed to good pieces of music, dance, visual arts etc., He also said that all of us may not have equal talents but have equal opportunities to excel and develop in all-round development of the young minds.
Sri Prakash Educational and Cultural Association organized this noble workshop on theatre. Many enthusiastic students participated in this workshop and were enlightened in the areas of Theatre & Arts.
