“Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam Celebrations” in Sri Prakash

“Telugu” is called the Italian of the East. So, it is always pioneered by all the writers. We, the Telugu people are celebrating this occasion on the birth anniversary of Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy who was a Telugu writer and one of the earliest modern Telugu linguists and social visionaries during the British rule. He Championed the cause of using a language comprehensible to the common man as opposed to the scholastic language. This occasion has been celebrated on a grand scale in Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan this year.  Telugu teachers have been conducting various events such as Quiz, Story Writing, Elocution, Slokas recitation to bring back the greatness and the taste of Telugu language and literature in the young minds. The Chief Guest Sri. Sunkaranam Jamuna Kishore Rtd. Telugu pandit, stated in his speech that Telugu language has been very easy now with the support of Paravastu Chinnayasuri who first wrote Telugu grammar book from which made Telugu easy for us. Senior Principal Sri M.V.V.S. Murthy expressed that Telugu is known to us when we are able to read and understand unknown passage. He also claimed that we enjoy the language, when we make others to listen our words which must be sweetened. Dr. K. Veerraju proclaimed in his speech that we should be good at not only Telugu but also English.

The Chief Guest Sri. Sunkaranam Jamuna Kishore has highly been respected with shawl ,garland and   book bouquet by Senior Principal Sri M.V.V.S. Murthy and Dr. K. Veerraju. The Chief Guest has finally given away the prizes and letter of appreciation to the winners who participated in various Telugu literary events. Telugu Department of Sri Prakash Organized   the program very well and joy of students reflected as claps.
