Our little builders of class – 2 visited a construction of a building in the part of experiential learning. They witnessed various materials bricks, cement, sand, tiles and small rocks that are being used for constructions . They observed how the materials are mixed and used for construction of different parts of the building. They also observed how the tiles were cut and lay on the floor. The master mason explained the different steps of construction like foundation, wall construction and slabbing using the concrete and other materials. They observed what kind of gates fixed in the entrance of the house.
This field trip brings a learning experience for the students and builds foundation for their future understanding of the world around them.
