Grade 8 and Grade 9 students had an interactive session on ‘Banking’ with Atithi, Mrs. M Swetha , Associate , SBI Tuni, on 22nd October. Mrs. M. Swetha who happened to be our former staff member, taught Mathematics at SPVN, Tuni, Before taking up the banking profession.
As a part of their social studies lesson on Understanding Banking , Mrs. M. Swetha gave a detailed explanation on the terms related to Banking – different types of banks , credit cards and debit cards, net banking , customer care services , different types of loans , Reserve Bank of India , different types of saving etc. She emphasized on educational loans and also briefed on the necessity of repaying loans properly. The students learnt a lot as they listened enthusiastically, noting all the points.
