Matru Basha Dinotsavam (Mother tongue Day) celebrations are held grandly at Sriprakash Vidyasoutham, Payakaraopeta. All students of Sriprakash vidyaniketan participated actively and garlanded Gidugu Ramurty's portrait and offered flowes to the great classical telugu poet, writer and celebrated his 153rd birth anniversary.
. All telugu teachers addressed the students in the school assembly and expressed their views about the importance of telugu language.
A famous telugu poet and writer, Smt.Dr.Vedala Gayatri Devi enlightened the sudents and delivered a message, stressing the importance of our classical language. She gave some tips to the sudents about poetry recitation, writing poems, short stories in literature. She presented poems beautifully. Students showed much interest and enjoyed them alot.
