Sri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great devotion, joy and enthusiasm at Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Annavaram. The celebration marked the divine birth of Lord Sri Krishna, who came to protect the righteous, vanquish evil and restore Dharma.
The school premises came alive with the enchanting presence of little Krishnas and Gopikas. The Pre-Primary children dressed up beautifully as Lord Krishna and Gopikas, filling the campus with innocence, colour and divine charm.
The programme began with a graceful Ganapathi Prarthana presented by Mokshagna, followed by melodious songs praising the glory of Lord Krishna. The little ones delighted everyone with their charming performances, beautifully portraying the innocence, love and playful spirit of Bal Krishna.
The entire vicinity was transformed into a vibrant Gokulam, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere. The adorable children, colourful costumes and devotional performances made the celebration truly memorable.
Many parents attended the programme and watched their children with immense joy and pride. Their smiles reflected the happiness of seeing their little ones beautifully dressed as Krishna and the Gopikas.
The celebration was not only a colourful cultural programme but also a wonderful opportunity for children to appreciate the timeless values represented by Lord Krishna—love, kindness, courage, righteousness and protection.
It was truly a memorable day when little Krishnas filled Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan with smiles, devotion and the divine spirit of Gokulam.
