We have Mr.B.Sudheer Babu, Post master TUNI as Athidhi for grade IV & V classes to know about the services of postal department. He explained that the railways and postal systems were established in the period of the British rule. The developments in technology changed the communication now a days but earlier postal system played a major role in communication with people all around the world and sending money to anywhere. Post cards, envelops, inland letters are the different sources for written communication. He explained how the way we are sending money now a days through paytm, google pay etc... But earlier people use to send money through post office in the form of money order. He also shared about the hobby of stamp collection and different stamps and special stamps how they can collect from post office. He showed different stamps and letters to children. He made the children explored about the role of pin code in finding the states cities and areas to deliver the letters in a fruitful way. How the different ways of transport such as road ways railways water ways & air ways helps to send the letters to different parts of the World. He explained about the services of postmen and other staff in post offices. He also advised about the savings accounts through post offices.
