Sri K. Srinivasa Rao, a dedicated fireman from the Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Response and Fire Service Department and the father of K. Girija was invited as parent guest to interact with the students of Grade - VII. He spoke on the crucial topic of Fire Safety and Measurements, sharing practical knowledge from his professional experience.
He explained the importance of identifying fire hazards, keeping flammable materials away from heat, and ensuring electrical wiring is checked regularly. Students learned how fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and emergency exits can save lives during unexpected situations.
Sri Srinivasa Rao also demonstrated basic safety steps such as βStop, Drop, and Roll,β staying calm during emergencies, and calling the fire services immediately. His clear and simple explanations helped students understand how preparedness prevents major accidents.
As a token of gratitude, students presented him with a plant, symbolizing safety, care, and protection.
