Sri Prakash Grade-I children visited post office as educational trip on 04/12/2019 related to the lesson My Neighbourhood Places.They visited the Post Office at Tuni. Children have observed the post box and knew when the post box is opened to collect the letters. They observed the postal stationary inland letters, post cards,envelops and different types of stamps.Mr.Ramana Babu postman explained about the way they collect letters, sort out according to the areas and send to respective places all over the country using different transports basing on the pin code.He made the children understand the process of delivering letters in the local area.He also explained the savings schemes available in the postal system to save money.He also made the children aware of the Money Order to send money to people who are faraway.Children have wonderful learning about the postal system and their services.
