As a part of field trip, we visited neighbourhood places Suravaram based on the lessons Our Neighbourhood places and Types of Houses. Children saw the places in neighbourhood like temples, market, hospital and park. They also saw different types of houses like huts, bungalows, apartments. They also visited temples like lord Venkateshwara Swami and Sai Baba temple. Children have understood which materials are used to build apartments, bungalows and huts. They also observed elevations of different buildings. They also observed the lawn and portico in front of the bungalows. Children understood that nearly 18 to 20 families can live in each apartment. They understood bungalows are individual houses. A family can live in a bungalow. They enjoyed the trip.
