We went to Andhra Pradesh state Disaster Response and Fire Services Department, Tuni on 12th July 2017 to know about the service places around us. Children observed all the equipment used by the firemen to put off the fire. They observed the life jacket, life buoy, ropes, delivery hose, oil fighter, carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder etc. The firemen explained the first aid to put off sudden fire in our house due to short circuit or gas leak. They showed the children practically what we should do when fire caused by a gas cylinder such by covering the wet blanket over the cylinder or pouring soil on it. They also explained how they rescue the people trapped in the flood. Children had a good learning experience about this service place.
