We have taken Grade-I students to bricks factory as a part of field trip to show how bricks are prepare to use in building constructions. There Mr.Bujji owner of the factory explained process to the children. He showed the materials such as black, red and sandy clay, husk and logs of wood. First they keep the three types of clay in an area and add water, after that they use tractor to mix they add the husk and wood flour. They make bricks with that clay by using brick boxes. After two days they arrange bricks under the sun light to dry for ten days. After drying they burnt then for 15 days in a kiln to make the Bricks strong. Children learnt the preparation of bricks and how they are useful in constructing the walls of a building.
