Rice grows better in clayey and loamy soil which can hold plenty of water. Paddy crop can be grown twice in a year with plenty of the water. Dec or Jan is the months for harvesting. Children have observed the fully harvested paddy in the field. They were growing alternate crops too. The Children were explained about crop Rotation which helps to increase the soil fertility

They also visited a betel leave farm which is famous for its cultivation in and around our Tuni town and exported to different places  Children understood that  these plants can grow in a  shady area  as, climbers.
