As part of experiential learning we took Grade – V (state) children to the Fire Station. They have a lesson “The True Story of Smokey Bear” in this lesson all the wild life was burnt because of a careless person.
As part of learning prevention from fire we took the children to the Fire Station.
At the Fire station one of the employees show them the rescue equipment and explained how they save life and property. Fire water tender with the capacity of 4,500 liters of water and Hose pipes, life jacket, life boy, cylinder with carbon dioxide, ropes, DCP cylinder, Helmets and long ropes were the other things shown.
The fire station belongs to Andhra Pradesh State Disaster and rescue services Department.
All the children came to know the Emergency phone numbers of Health, police and Fire like 108,101,100,etc
