As part of learning we have taken IV class (State) children to Madhura dairy farm centre at Payakaraopeta. There the children learnt about the farm animals how they are taken care of the cleanliness of sheds, feeding animals and also providing other facilities. The children observed the food provided to the animals such as grass, hay, horse gram etc.., They explored the dairy products and processing of milk, curd, ghee by using different machines. Later they also visited the biogas plant and understood the production of biogas which is eco friendly.
The children observed how vermi compost is prepared using the plant and animal waste which as a natural manure, makes the soil fertile and helps the plants to grow well.
