Students of Sri Prakash Vidya Nikethan, PayakaraoPeta went on a field trip on 27. 03.22. 109 students of 10th class accompanied by 10 staff members visited worth seeing places in E.G Dist and its surrounding places.
1. Sri Kukuteswara temple, Pithapuram. It is said to be one of the 18 Maha Shakthi Peethas. The priest of the temple explained its divinity and religious history related to the temple.
2. Mangrove Foresters, Korangi - The forests give shelter to many a wild life and various species of birds.
3. Bheemeswara temple, Draksharam - It is on the eastern bank of the river Godavari and was built between 9th and 10th centuries.
