As a part of the field trip we took the children to fields around our Tuni town to make them understand that every plant grows from a little seed. There the children noticed different types of plants that grow from a seed like coconut trees, palm trees and paddy crop. They noticed that their leaves are big in size and different from one another. Then children found the women planting paddy saplings. They also found that we get water, oil, husk which is used for making ropes and the way broom sticks we get from the coconut leaves. They observed the coconuts, palm fruits, bananas and plantains. The children understood that we get all plants from seeds but banana grows from it’s stem.
