Learning outcome: Children explored different types of fruits, vegetables based on the colour, size, shape and taste.
Today as part of the field trip our lower kindergarten kids visited the Raithu Bazar at the market yard- Tuni. They identified all kinds of vegetables, fruits sold by the vendors. Children were shown the colours of the vegetables fruits and other things available in the market. The children enjoyed the taste of the sweet corn, ground nuts. They felt the texture, shapes and sizes too.They recognized the leafy vegetables such as coriander, cabbage, spinach, mache, mint, curry leaves etc. They also visited the temple of Lord Vinayaka located there. The children explored a lot. Really it was an exciting trip .
