Exploring Railway station- A joyful learning

L.0 : Students explored the Railway Station and understood the importance of cleanliness In public places . 

As a part of  field trip, class -3 children visited the railway station in Tuni. There children observed the booking office and reservation counter at the entrance. They visited the ticket examiner office and met ticket collector. The ticket collector explained his duty is to check the tickets of passengers. He said, If the passengers travel without tickets, he collects the penalty. Next children met the station master Mr. Tripati, he demonstrated the arrival and departure of the trains by showing the panel board. Later they visited the parcel office. The parcel officer explained the way of exporting goods through goods train from one place to another. They also noticed the passengers waiting at the platform for boarding the train and getting off the train. They listened to the announcements of the arrival of different trains and also found the timings in displays. The children understood the work of  people in railway station and felt It was everyone's responsibility to maintain the public places neat and tidy. The children had a look at the moving train on the tracks. It was a joyful learning for the children.
