Simple machines can help reduce the effort to do work; taking this as a main objective, students of Grade-5 were taken to a Timber Depot and rice mill on 06.11.19. They observed the different types of simple machines that make the work easier. They had a good interaction with the people who are working over there.By the end of the day children explored to simple machines by comparing them with ancient tools, used by the people.
Students of CBSE, Tuni, made eco-friendly Ganesh under the teachers guidance on 31.08.2019 Saturday. Children made Ganesh idols from natural clay with passion and creativity. They also took pledge not use pop in future as it pollutes water which effects on water animals. Students were extremely excited to take the eco-friendly Ganesh idols prepared by them to their homes.
a Mr. K. Venkatesh, attended as Athidhi for Grade 6 & 7 CBSE on 27.08.19. He displayed and explained about the tools which were used by the earliest people in Palaeolithic age. Children learnt from him how the fossils turned to stone and about the coins of different time periods by different rulers. He also explained about Telugu rulers and their contributions in various fields. Through his explanation and display, children understood about the metals and symbols used in making coins. In addition to this, children identified the places where the coins were printed by using different symbols.
The teachers of Nursery classes organised a picnic on 20.8.19. The little ones of class L.K.G were taken to the garden in Payakaraopeta campus. The picnic began with the kids clapping and singing names in the bus. They played games, sang and had their favourite snacks. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the day.
UKG kids visited local community places like police station, hospital, fire station on 17.08.2019. Kids were excited to see A Fire Engine in the fire station. They interacted with fire fighter Mr. S. Ashok and enquire knowledge how a fire man helps to put out fire. Finally children gave thank you card to the team for spending their valuable time.
To make children understand the importance and glory of our Indian traditions, Krishnastami celebrations was organized by the teachers in Nursery wing on 22.08.19. All children came in traditional dresses. Some boys dressed up as Krishna and girls as Gopika. Beautiful decorations were put up to make the event more colourful. Children danced on the tunes of Krishna’s flute music.
