Celebrating festival theme activities are the best way to help our children learn about a festival, the culture and the tradition related to the festival. The harvest festival of Andhra Pradesh ‘Makara Sankrathi’ was celebrated with traditional background with enthusiasm on 11th January 2023. The day started off with a Sankrathi themed song and dance by out students. As part of the celebrations, ‘Chakkara Pongali’ was prepared in earthen clay pots and the Prasadham was distributed to the parents, students, teachers and support staff. The campus wore a festive look with colourful Rangoli, Pots, Sugarcane and kites enhancing the festive spirit. The highlight of the day was fortune teller-telling about healthy tips to all parents and students. It was very nice to see our students took a lead in volunteering the grand celebrations.
