Field trips help students develop new skills, explore new environments, and provide hands-on experiences. Grade 2 children were taken to explore their community by visiting different local places, from the library to the park. during their visits (railway station, library, bank, temple, church, park) children were engaged with the community, meeting new people and learning how different places serve different purposes and contribute to the overall character of the neighbourhood.
This initiative has not only helped the children learn more about their community but also helped them develop important social skills.
