ENROOT ORAL HEALTH
Doctors are responsible for increased life expectancy and improved well-being in the society. Our U.K.G CBSE Children invited Dr. Neelima M.B.B.S medical officer P.H.C, P.R.Peta as an honourable guest on ATIDHI to their class. The children asked about the tools of the doctor. She explained the use of an apron which helps prevents germs from entering our body, a stethoscope is used to hear the patients heart beat, a thermometer to take patients temperature. She spoke about the importance of oral health to overall health in a class. The doctor explained about the child’s diet, exercise habits, sleep patterns, good personal hygiene habits like bathing regularly, routinely washing hands before and after eating, brushing teeth twice a day and flossing once. The children understood that a doctor means the difference between life and death.
