An Enriching experience

Students from classes 3 to 5 of Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan, Payakarao peta visited the railway station and the fire station, Tuni, East Godavari district. It was an initiative taken by the station superintendent Sri K.N. Sharma to create awareness among students about safety rules in and around the station and how the signal system works. Students of class 3 presented the poster,’No to plastic ‘to the station superintendent for display at the station.

The students were acquainted with the working of the rescue cops and were shown the different units at the fire station by Mr. K. K. Satyanarayana.

Class 5 students visited the heritage building (Sri Raja high school) and the Visakha co-operative bank in Tuni. Our children were enlightened on the banking system by Mr. P. Suresh Kumar Patnaik ,the branch manager .Teachers explained to the students the study of Sri Alluri Sita Rama Raju, freedom fighter,and showed the record of 1913 with his Admission number 797.The children paid tributes to Alluri Sita Rama Raju.
