Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan is a physician by training who went into the Indian Administrative Service in the aftermath of the Emergency and failure of the Janata Experiment. He was a topper in the IAS exam. During the 16 years of distinguished public service in various capacities, he acquired a formidable reputation in the erstwhile State of Andhra Pradesh.

Some of his major accomplishments while in government

As Joint Collector, he created full and permanent employment for 8000 youth from displaced families of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. 

As Collector of Prakasm District, he was instrumental in the creation of a record 2,00,000 acres of irrigation, the largest such program with direct participation of people.

As Collector of East Godavari District, he spearheaded the reconstruction of drainage and irrigation network in Krishna and Godavari deltas.

International day of yoga is also called as the world yoga day. United Nations General Assembly has declared 21st of June as an International Yoga Day on 11th of December in 2014. Yoga in India is considered to be around 5,000 year old mental, physical and spiritual practice. Yoga was originated in India in ancient time when people were used of meditation to transform their body and mind. Launching a particular date of practicing yoga all across the world and celebrating as yoga day was initiated by the Indian Prime Minister to the United Nations General Assembly.

The celebration of the event International day of yoga is supported by various global leaders. It is celebrated by the people of more than 170 countries including USA, China, Canada, etc. It is celebrated on international level by organizing the activities like yoga training campus, yoga competitions and so many activities to enhance the awareness about yoga benefits among common public all over the world. It is celebrated to let people know that regular yoga practice lead to the better mental, physical and intellectual health. It positively changes the lifestyle of the people and increase the level of well-being.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA) (or Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) or Clean India Mission in English) is a campaign in India that aims to clean up the streets, roads and infrastructure of India's cities, smaller towns, and rural areas. The objectives of Swachh Bharat include eliminating open defecation through the construction of household-owned and community-owned toilets and establishing an accountable mechanism of monitoring toilet use. Run by the Government of India, the mission aims to achieve an Open-Defecation Free (ODF) India by 2 October 2019, the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi, by constructing 90 million toilets in rural India at a projected cost of ?1.96 lakh crore (US$30 billion). The mission will also contribute to India reaching Sustainable Development.

The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY) is a voluntary youth movement which promotes intangible aspects of Indian cultural heritage by promoting Indian classical music, classical dance, folk music, yoga, meditation, crafts and other aspects of Indian culture; it is a movement with chapters in over 300 towns all over the world. SPIC MACAY was established by Dr. Kiran Seth in 1977 at IIT Delhi.

Kiran Seth a young graduate from IIT Kharagpur, was studying for his doctorate at the Columbia University, New York, when he chanced to attend a Dhrupad concert by Ustad Nasir Aminuddin Dagar and Ustad Zia Fariddudin Dagar at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, New York City.

Dr. Chukka Ramaiah (born 20 November 1925) popularly known as IIT Ramaiah is an Indian educationist and MLC of Telangana. He is an acclaimed expert in IIT coaching in mathematics.[1][2] He is famously known for IIT Study Circle, an IIT JEE coaching centre at Nallakunta, Hyderabad. He is a leading Telangana activist. He taught Mathematics at various schools across the Telangana region before retiring as the principal of the AP Residential School, Nagarjuna Sagar in 1983. Chukka Ramaiah, after retiring in 1983, could not get his pension and other benefits approved by the government.[citation needed] This made him to look for means for livelihood. He went to Basar's Saraswati temple and stayed there for a week to contemplate his future.

Dr. Janchai Yingprayoon is currently working as the Deputy Director , Suan  Sunanda Rajabhat University, Bangkok. Dr. Janchai did his post graduation in science from Mahidol University and received a German Government Scholarship to do his Phd. In Laser physics from Free University in Berlin, Germany. Since 1979 he had worked for the International Council of  Association For Science Education (ICASE). He received an outstanding university lecturer award, from the king of Thailand in the year 1992 and was also invited by the king of Saudi Arabia during a recent teacher training that he conducted for talented children in Jedda, Saudi Arabia. He was elected to the International Convention to maintain the position of president of the International Council Of Association For Science Education (ICASE) in 2004 and served the council in that position till 2007.He was also the Head of Physics Department and Assistant to the Director of the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST), Bangkok and the Chairmen of Science Teachers’ Section, Science Society of Thailand.
