A Municipality is basically the response of the state government to attend the need for certain public services. To explore the functions of the Municipal government and its role, our Grade 4 students and teachers visited the Municipal office, Tuni on 9/08/23. Children  observed different sectors of Tuni Municipality such as Town planning, engineering section, health department, Revenue department and so on. Students have learnt about the planning, the requirements of a town, like construction of official buildings, roads, arrangement of street lights.They also understood how the health administration department helps the people with hygienic conditions, water and food safety, pension scheme for old and handicapped people. This visit to the Muncipal office is very informative. Our learners had an interactive and knowledgeable session with  the commissioner of Municipality , Mr. Prasad Raju and other municipal officials.
